Minor Participant Policy
All participants under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian signature on the Full Throttle Indoor Karting Liability Waiver. If a parent or legal guardian will not be accompanying the minor participant, please print and complete the form and bring it with you. We require one waiver per minor participant and it must completely filled out.
If the parent or legal guardian will be accompanying the minor participant, an electronic waiver will be used upon arrival and there is no need to print the form.
Youth drivers must be at least 48″ tall and 8-years-old to be able to drive our karts.
Optional Reservations for Open Racing
Full Throttle is open to the public for racing during all normal business hours except when we have a private event scheduled. No reservations are required for open racing. Customers will be added to races on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are available with the following restrictions:
Members with Races on Account:
Active members who have unused races on their account may reserve a spot in a race by calling ahead. A minimum of 2 hours advance notice is required to reserve a race. Reservations are limited to the number of remaining prepaid races on the account. Race times are approximate, and the member should arrive to allow ample time to register, get equipment and make it trackside in time to load. Member reservations will not be made for heats after 6pm on Saturdays, so members will need to call in by 4pm at the latest on these days to reserve heats.
Reservations must be for a minimum of 6 people
Reservations must be made 4 hours in advance (no reservations taken after 1PM on Saturdays)
Reservations must be paid in full at the time of reservation
Reservations are made for time of arrival; race time is approximately 45 minutes after time of reservations
Full Throttle reserves the right to add other customers to reserved races if reservation is for fewer than 8 people
No reservations may be booked for after 5PM on Saturdays
Customers with races reserved must check in upon arrival
No refunds will be given for groups with fewer racers than paid for at time of reservation
No refunds will be given for missed races; Full Throttle will make its best effort to book party in next available race, but schedule changes will not be made to accommodate for missed races
Customer credit can be carried forward to another day or credited to another customer’s account
Cancellations made 24 hours ahead of time will receive a full refund or race credits
Walk in customers wishing to book a later time than when they arrive (i.e. walking in at 1pm to book at 8pm) must have the entire group complete the registration process, including signed waivers, and pictures, and have all racers paid for before races can be reserved.
Consecutive Heat Restriction:
Reservations will not be made for consecutive heats. Reservations for more than one heat will be placed, at minimum, in every other heat.
Racers who miss their heat will be removed from the heat. Late racers may be placed in the next available heat. Schedule changes will not be made to accommodate racers who miss reserved races; it is the customer’s responsibility to be on time.
No group reservations will be allowed after 6PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Changes in group size for reservations:
Reservations are scheduled for a specific group size. If the group size is different than scheduled, there is no guarantee that additional racers can be accommodated in the same timeframe as the reservation.
Full Throttle reserves the right to fill heats with additional racers if the group size is smaller than a standard heat size.
Free Member Birthday Race
Members receive one free race during the month of their birthday. Proof of birthday may be required. Members must have purchased at least one race prior to their free birthday race being awarded.
Alcohol / Drug Policy
Full Throttle Indoor Karting has a “No alcohol or drug” policy for all participants. The Manager on Duty reserves the right to deny anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs from participating in racing events.
Full Throttle maintains a portable blood-alcohol detection device (Breathalyzer) which may be used for any participant suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. The results of the test, in addition to manager discretion, will be used in determining if a participant is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
No alcohol may be brought into the facility for group events, even for non-racers. Ohio “Open container” and “Operating Under the Influence” laws are in effect inside Full Throttle facilities.
Aggressive Driving / Habitual Offenders
Full Throttle Indoor Karting promotes safe and responsible driving. In accordance with Ohio revised Code section 1711.551, all go kart operators are required to drive in a manner so as not to cause injury to others or damage to go karts. Drivers are expected to follow instructions and heed all flags and communications from Full Throttle personnel. The track is monitored and aggressive driving will not be tolerated. Aggressive drivers will be shown a black flag and given a consultation to indicate their infraction.
If warnings go un-heeded, a driver may be identified as a repeat offender. Repeat offenders may be asked to leave, and no refunds will be given to drivers asked to leave due to aggressive driving. Drivers may be marked in the Full Throttle Timing System as habitual offenders and will not be allowed to participate in future races. The loss of driving privileges is at the discretion of the Manager on Duty.
Full Throttle Indoor Karting uses video surveillance equipment to monitor activity and incidents on track. Incidents involving repeated warnings, collisions or kart damage or injury are reviewed by management staff to ensure proper handling and accountability.
Damage to Karts:
If, upon review by management, damage to go karts, track or other Full Throttle property is deemed to be the result of driver negligence or willful driver misconduct, the offending driver may be billed for the parts and labor to repair any and all go karts involved in an incident. Failure to pay for damages resulting from willful misconduct will result in loss of driving privileges at Full Throttle Indoor Karting.
Injury to others:
Indoor go karting has inherent risks and, by agreeing to the terms of the waiver of liability, the individual or minor guardian of each participant accepts these risks. If an injury occurs due to willful driver misconduct, the terms of Ohio revised code section 1711.551 will be enforced to the fullest extent allowed by law.
