• Approximately 30 minutes of seat time
  • 5 minute forward practice and 5 minute backward practice
  • Best times in practice averaged to create race groups
  • 5-lap qualifier forward to set the grid for the forward race
  • 20-lap forward race
  • 20-lap backward race; starting grid based on finishing order from forward race
• Racing should conclude around 10:30PM

Here’s the format:

Monday Night Open League

• Starts February 18th – runs every week for 10 weeks

• 7:00 Driver’s Meeting, 7:30 Race – must be paid by the Driver’s Meeting

• $40 entry

• 3-Lap Qualifying in random groups

• 20 Minute Mains, based on qualifying (up to 10 drivers = 1 Main, up to 20 drivers = 2 Mains, etc.)

• Each driver must complete 2 pit stops during the Main

• The winning driver of each Main will receive either one free race or a 1/2-off entry to the next week’s league race

• Season points will also be tallied, allowing 2 drops (your best 8 races will count)

• Limited to 40 drivers per week

The Full Throttle Ironman 75 will take place on Thursday, February 21st. The race is 75 laps for individual drivers, no teams this time!

-Starting grid will be determined by a random draw.
-Each driver must complete 2 pit stops that will be timed with our 4-second pit-stop boxes. Failure to stop where the driver can reach the stop box button will result in that driver needing to repeat the pit stop.
-Each driver must make a kart change during the race. The Full Throttle crew will determine when each driver pits for a kart change. Seatbelts must remain buckled until the kart is completely stopped.
-The start will be a LeMans start on the front straight: Drivers will run from one side of the front straight to the other, where their kart is parked and running. The driver will jump in the kart and buckle the seatbelt. Only once the seatbelt is buckled and BOTH of the drivers hands are on the steering wheel can the driver accelerate. Drivers will have no assistance with seat belts on this start, but will be able to prep their seatbelt as desired. Drivers will be given time to practice their starting strategy.
-Upon entering the pits for any reason, the driver must come to a complete stop in the designated stop box before accelerating down pit lane. Pit lane speed limit must be kept to a walking pace. The seatbelt must be buckled and BOTH of the drivers hands must be on the steering wheel before leaving the pit box.
-In the case of a caution, the field will be held at Start/Finish, starting with the leader, until the caution is resolved and any ensuing penalties are assessed. The race will resume at Turn 2 by a single file rolling restart.
-Penalties assessed by the race officials are not open for protest.
-The race will be limited to 45 minutes in the event of multiple cautions and delays.
-10 drivers will be accepted. After this, additional drivers will be put on a wait list. When 8 drivers are on the wait list, we’ll add a second race and start a new wait list. In the event of multiple races, drivers will be assigned to races based on previous fast lap times.

Schedule:
6:30pm – Check-In Open
7:00pm – Driver’s Meeting in Conference Room, followed by practice starts
7:30pm – Green Flag
8:30pm – Podium Ceremony

Cost of entry is $75 per driver and the first 10 drivers to make payment will be accepted. Full payment must be made to guarantee a spot in the race. Drivers must enter by Wednesday, February 20th and may enter in person at the track, or by phone.
